CodeDesign provides you with easy and smart options to add one or more links to your page. Let us start with the easy option.
How to Add a Link to Your Page
- Go to the right sidebar under the Elements tab.
- Scroll down to find a ready-to-drop link under the text section.
- Drag and drop it to your canvas.
- Add the link address to which you want the audience to shift.
- And there you go! It's the simple way.
And to a more advanced level, you can attach a link even to your headlines or a random word. Let us see how it is done.
The Link Settings
To add a link to your headline, first, you need to have a headline. So drop one from your right sidebar!
- Select the headline or any text, where you want to attach a link.
- Go to your right sidebar to find the Link Settings.
- Choose the URL tab (the first tab in the list)
- Add your link address in the box that appears below.
- And done! Now your headline is also a link!
- If you want the link to be opened in a new tab, you will find a checkbox to do so.
- Select the Checkbox and now the link will be opened in another tab.
Internal Page Link
The internal page link feature offers you the privilege to add a link to your existing pages. So let's see how!
- Select the text/element on which you have to attach the link.
- Go to your right sidebar to find the Link Settings
- Choose the Internal page tab. (the second tab from the left)
- In the box that shows, 'Select a page' all you have to do is select a page from your project! (onto which you want your audience to go.)
- Now select the option to open in a new tab below if you want the second page to open in another tab.
- And voila! Done!
